A few weeks ago I discussed taking photos in the rain. There are lots of other opportunities to use water when it’s not raining. If you have an accessible pond or lake, then this can be a great backdrop for some of your images - a great example is the above image of Minna, Annika and their Highland pony Pippa or the below image shot in the summer at the beach in Dorset…

Failing natural water, if your pony doesn’t mind, a hosepipe can also be a way to create some fun images.
