These recent foggy mornings are perfect for equine photography sessions as the fog makes a beautiful soft backdrop against which your pony can stand out. In this particular session the backdrop was beautiful anyway with a spectacular view of the South Downs above the fields but if you are not blessed with such a picturesque environment, the fog provided a perfect setting.

The cold morning can also be seen in the pony’s breath producing a lovely soft mist. I think these images demonstrate how beautiful images can be produced on a winter’s morning; it is not essential to wait for summer to book your equine photographic portrait session with Pony Portrait.
